外婆家客廳牆面上固定掛著的幾幅畫被更換過。其中新掛上一幅中央有著海的地圖,大舅很熱切地向我解釋:那是我們所居住的沿海城市。可是原先的地圖中央靠海處有著一大片錯誤,於是他用白色的顏料,非常仔細嚴謹地根據他親自航海後所得知的真實資訊,去塗改成為一幅新的地圖。

The paintings hanging on Grandma’s living room wall were changed. One of them was replaced by a map with a sea in the center. My uncle eagerly explained to me that it was the coastal city we lived in. However, since there was an error near the sea in the center area, he carefully corrected it with white paints, based on accurate information he gathered from his personal naval experience.
